Helpful – I try to be as helpful as I can.

I usually take the initiative otherwise it probably wouldn’t get done.

day 1 of the love dare

Day 1
So I decided to continue with the Love Dare long distance since Mark is in Michigan until Saturday and do the best I can with him being gone.

I know I tend to lose my cool with Mark esp when he says or does something I don’t like and it’s mainly in the tone of his voice.

not sure what I did

Mark has basically stopped helping out with Nicole since I went back to work in March. I mean he'll feed her a few nights a week and watch her while I shower but thats the extent of it. Last weekend he promised me a day off so I could relax and by 9am I basically was taking care of her. It's bad enough I get up before he does in the morning and get home after he does from work and yet he does nothing to help me with Nicole or around the house. Not to mention we are so tight on money and he thinks we have all this money to spend all the time yet we don't. I asked him to put over $130 in coins in the bank on Friday so I could put it in savings and he cashed it in for cash for himself. He left for MI yesterday since his grandma is in a diabetic coma and he already took $200 in cash out of our account and didn't even tell me. I called him 3 times this morning and his phone was off so I called his mom's phone to talk to him and I asked him to call me later and he said why. He expects me to cook, clean, take care of Nicole, take care of the dogs, do the laundry and pay the bills and I get nothing in return. I don't know what I did to be treated like this. It was never like this before I got pregnant and he went on deployment. I got us basically out of debt when he went on deployment except for my car and his motorcycle, now we have that and then some. He doesn't know how to control his spending and it is more out of control than ever. He gets mad when I get on the internet to check my email but he is constantly surfing craigslist. I don't even get any time to work on my schoolwork. I ju.st don't know what to do. He won't agree to marriage counseling so I'm at my wits end.

so much has happened since I last posted. Mark came home Dec 18th and Nicole arrived Jan 4th. I have 3 more weeks till I go back to work and I'm trying to lose weight before I go back. Today was the first day of the 30 day shred video and it totally kicked my ass. I can't barely do pushups. I'm hoping to update this more as well this year.
